HOUSTON DASH VS BOSTON BREAKERS

Tonight at BBVA Compass Stadium, the Houston Dash take on the Boston Breakers after a weather delay.  Hoping the rain stays away for the rest of the night so the game continues uninterrupted.  This will be the last of a three game homestand for the Dash.  This is  the second meeting between the Dash and Breakers this season.  Houston has 17 points in the League Standings, the Dash have a record 5 wins, 7 losses, 2 ties, after 14 games played this season.  The Houston Dash are hoping to keep the winning streak going, after a rocky start to the season.  The Dash have won their last five games.   The good news is Carli Lloyd will be able to play against the Breakers, she is coming off a red card suspension against the Portland Thorns.  The Breakers are also coming off a four game win, both teams will be playing for a much needed win on both sides.  The first goal of the game was made by the Dash, #14 Nichelle Prince in the 23rd minute.  The first half score ended in Dash 1 and Breakers 0.

The second half of the game both teams rallied back and forth in controlling the ball.   There has been substitutions in both of the teams.  The Dash changed in the 60th minute, bringing in Cambria Privett for Morgan Brian and in the 80th minute they brought in Caity Heap for Nichelle Prince.  The Boston Breakers also changed their lineup in the 58th minute bringing in Tiffany Weimer for Rosie White, in the 63rd minute Natasha Dowie in for Katie Stengel and finally Camille Levin for Adriana Leon.  The final substitution of the night for the Dash in the 87th minute was Sarah Hagen for Andressinha.  The Dash hold on to their winning streak of six wins tonight.

The final score, Dash 1 and Boston Breakers 0.    The Player of the Match was #14 Nichelle Prince scoring the only goal of the game.  The attendance was 5,337 considering the stormy weather before the game.
