It was a hot sunday afternoon for this 4th game in series. But it did not look good today from the start the starting pitcher for the Sugarland Skeeters Dan Meadows would let the Lancaster Barnstormers score in there first run in the top of the 1st inning. Lancaster really wanted to leave with at least one win out of this 4 game series. The starting pitcher for Lancaster was Matt Packer would pitch a great 7 innings to hold the Sugarland Skeeters to a score less 7 innings. But the Lancasters team would also score 2 more runs in the 2nd inning and also 1 more run in the 3rd inning. And then it look like the Skeeters had a enough and would change pitchers in the top of the 3rd inning and put in Derek Blacksher and he would only last for 2 innings and would be taken out in the 5th inning after only allowing 1 run. Then the Skeeters would bring in Derrick Loop and he would only last till the 8th inning with only allowing 1 more run making the score 6-0 Lancaster. Roy Merritt for the Skeeters would come in for 1 inning to get them out of the 8th inning and the last Skeeters pitcher come in and close out the game was Andrew Johnston. But as luck would have it. It was the Sugarland Skeeters night they would lose this game but it is still a great start to the season with a (3-1). The Skeeters will start other 4 game series which they will take on Camden Riversharks. So if your in the Sugarland area come on out to cheer on the Skeeters yall have a great time.
