DYNAMO VS SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC

Today the Houston Dynamo take on the Seattle Sounders FC at BBVA Compass Stadium.  This game is a must win for the Houston Dynamo to stay in and get themselves back into the Western Conference playoff.  The Dynamo are in 10th place in the Western Conference with 24 points from 24 games.

The Dynamo and the Seattle Sounders FC, both controlled the ball well in the first half, both teams taking shots.  There was no score in the first half of the game.  There was one minute of added time to the end of the forty-five minute scheduled play in the first half.

The second half started the same way the first half started, both teams fighting for the ball.  Hopefully the Dynamo are able to score in the second half.   In the 49th  minute there was a yellow card issued to the Seattle Sounders FC #7 Cristian Roldan.  In 57th minute Seattle Sounders substituted #16 Nelson Valdez to come off and # 13 Jordan Morris coming in.  In the 58th minute the Sounders made another substitution #8 Erik Friberg coming off and # 33 Joevin Jones coming into the game.   The Dynamo also did their first substitution #9 Erick “Cubo” Torres coming off and #12 Will Bruin coming in to the game.  The next substitution for the Dynamo was #8 Cristian Maidana coming out and #11 Andrew Wenger coming in.   In the 75th minute, the Dynamo made their first score of the night my #11 Andrew Wenger, making the score Dynamo 1 and Seattle Sounder FC 0 in the second half.  In the 89th minute the Dynamo made their last substitution #27 Boniek Garcia coming off and #6 Eric Alexander coming into the game.  There was three minutes added of stoppage time to the end of the 90 minute game.  In extra time the Seattle Sounders FC were able to score, #10 Nicolas Lodeiro to tie the game for the night.

The final score ended in a draw, Dynamo 1 and Seattle Sounder FC 1.  The player of the match for the Dynamo was #11 Andrew Wenger.  The attendance for tonight’s game was 16,125.
