Today the Dynamo return home to play FC Dallas at BBVA Compass Stadium in the second leg of the Texas Derby. El Capitan was fired by NBA player Justise Winslow to start the game. Both teams have started playing aggressively, Dynamo’s #15 Dylan Remick has stopped a goal to stop FC Dallas from scoring. In the 19th minute, Dynamo’s #9 Eric “Cuba” Torres scored a goal, his 11th of the season, with the assistance of #3 Adolfo Machado, putting the Dynamo on the scoreboard first. The night has been so hot and humid there was a break for both teams to get water, so four minutes was added to the first half. Right before the half ended Tyler Deric made a save to stop FC Dallas from scoring. The end of the first half Dynamo 1 and FC Dallas 0.
In the second half 55th minute, #14 Atiba Harris was issued a yellow card for a foul. The teams have come out very fast, FC Dallas has controlled the ball successfully, they scored in the 59th minute by #37 Maximiliano Urruti to tie the score. The FC Dallas team made a substitution in the 59th minute, #7 Carlos Gruezo came out of the game and #8 Victor Ulba came into the game. In the 62nd minute the Dynamo made a substitution #12 Quioto coming out and #17 Alberth Elis coming into the game. Dallas made another substitution #10 Mauro Diaz coming out and #9 Crisitan Colman coming in to play. The Dynamo substituted #27 Boniek Garcia and #14 Alex came into the game. The FC Dallas made their last substitution of the game in the 70th minute, #13 Tesho Akindele came out of the game and #33 Aaron Guillen came in to finish the game. Tensions are mounting for both teams, each team was issued a yellow card in the 79th minute, #14 Alex for Dynamo and #2 Hernan Grana for FC Dallas for fighting. In the 82nd minute, Dynamo made their last substitution, #13 Ricardo Clark coming out of the game and #10 Vicente Sanchez coming in to play the remainder of the game. The Dynamo’s #9 Eric Torres was issued a yellow card in the 84th minute. The fans were not to happy with some of the calls being made by the referee tonight. As the referee’s left the field the fans booed them off. An additional four minutes was added to the end of the second half.
The attendance for tonight was a sale out, 22,115. The final score was Dynamo 1 and FC Dallas 1. The Man of the Match was Ricardo Clark tonight. The game tonight was very intense, at one point blows were thrown. Tonight breaks the Dynamo’s streak of winning at home since they tied tonight.
