The Houston Dash are coming in with draw from last Saturday when Rachel Daly secured the first point on the road for Houston since May 7. This is the first meeting in the regular season between the Dash and the WNY Flash. The Flash is in third place through 14 games this season. The Olympic Games begin in a week and the Houston Dash will have seven players participating in the Olympic Games, this is the most out of any NWSL club. Morgan Brian and Carlie Lloyd will represent the United States. The players representing Canada will be Janine Beckie and Allysha Chapman. Australia will be represented by Lydia Williams. The girls representing the host nation will be Andressa and Poliana.
