DYNAMO VS VANCOUVER WHITECAPS

Tonight at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas, the Houston Dynamo take on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC.  The way it stands both teams need a win tonight.  The Dynamo team is at 11 points below the red line, coming home with a loss to the LA Galaxy last week.  The Whitecaps are tied for fifth place following their 2-2 home draw with Orlando City SC last Saturday at BC Place.  The Dynamo’s #14 Alex is playing with a yellow card, another card he will be out of the game.  The referee for tonight’s game is Jaime Herrera.

In the first half, 13th minute, Dynamo’s #5 Raul Rodriguez had to have substitute due to a slight injury, #20 Abdoulie Mansally came in to the game.  There was a cooling break in the 30th minute, up to 3 minutes, time will be added at the 45th minute of the first half.  In the 34th minute #9 Erick Torres missed a goal….so both teams still scoreless in the first half.  Corner kick for the Dynamo in the 40th minute but no goal.  At the end of the half it is Dynamo 0 and Whitecaps 0.

In the 61st minute a yellow card was issued to Dynamo’s #11 Andrew Wenger for a foul.  The second half is still scoreless. In the 67th minute there was substitution for the Caps #11 Nicolas Mezquida coming out and #27 Blas Perez coming in.  The substitution for the Dynamo was #11 Andrew Wenger coming off and #8 Cristian Maidana coming in.  In the 73rd minute Caps made another substitution #9 Massato Kudo coming off and #19 Erik Hurtado coming in.  In the 75th minute a cooling break was called by the referee due to the hot temperatures, additional minutes will be added to the end of the 90 minutes.  In the 80th minute, Dynamo’s substituted #26 Collen Warner coming out with #10 Giles Barnes coming in.  In the 83rd minute yellow card was issued to the Whitecaps Erik Hurtado for a handball.  The Caps also made a substitution #77 Pedro Morales (captain) coming off and #13 Cristian Techera coming in.  There will be 4 minutes added to the 90 minutes.  The games final score was Dynamo 0 and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 0.  The attendance for tonight’s game was 16,465.
