Tonight at BBVA Compass stadium, Houston, Texas the Dash are back home for the first time in three week. The Dash will take on the Orlando Pride, which will be the second all-time regular-season meeting, with the Orlando Pride leading the series, 1-0-0. The first meeting of the two teams, Andressa scored her first goal for the Dash. The game tonight is expected to be a good, after rainstorms during the week, it seems the weather will be perfect for tonight with no rain in the forecast. Melissa Henderson and Carli Lloyd both out this game with sprained MCL’s. The Orlando Pride had a change in the starting line up, when #5 Laura Alleway injured herself at warm up. The captain for the Dash will be Kealia Ohai. The first half ended with Dash 0 and Orlando Pride 0. The Dash, although moving very swiftly with the ball, they need to score a goal.
The second half there was a couple of calls that maybe the referee might have called, but did not and giving the ball to Orlando instead of the Dash was not a crowd pleaser. It started off pretty rough. The Orlando had a substitution in the 55th minute, #26 Samantha Witteman coming in for #6 Kaylyn Kyle. The Dash also had a substitution, #22 Stephanie Ochs coming in for #11 Janine Beckie. The Dash had another substitution #9 Chioma Ubogagu in for #7 Kealia Ohai in the 66th minute.
