Today the Houston Dynamo take on LA Galaxy at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Dynamo are coming off a tie game against the Seattle Sounders FC. Today the fans are hoping the Dynamo can come back strong and end victorious tonight. In the Western Conference Division the Dynamo are in 8th place with 5 points. The LA Galaxy is in 6th place with 8 points.
The Dynamo started fast tonight, they scored in the 1st minute of the game. The goal came by #18 David Horst, assisted by #14 Alex. It didn’t stop LA Galaxy by scoring in the 4th minute of the game by #10 Giovani dos Santos tying the game Dynamo 1 and LA Galaxy 1 in the first half. Both teams are playing a good game in the first half. There was a small dispute between Barnes and the referee concerning the head butt between Dynamo and LA Galaxy player. In the 20th minute LA Galaxy scored to put them ahead 2 to 1. The player for LA Galaxy who scored was #6 Baggio Husidic. The first half has been a physical game by both teams, neither one wants to surrender the ball, both teams do what they have to do to get the ball back. The Dynamo have attempted several times to get a goal, but have come up short. In the 31st minute LA Galaxy’s #10 Giovani dos Santos scored once again to make the score LA Galaxy 3 and Dynamo 1 to end the first half.
The second half 48th minute, LA Galaxy’s #11 Gyasi Zardes scored their 4th goal with the assistance of #17 Sebastian Lletget. A yellow card was issued in the 55th minute to Ashley Cole for a foul. There was 3 substitutions for the Dynamo in the 56st minute of the second half, #27 Boniek Garcia on for Crisrian Maidana , #9 Erick Torres on for Will Bruin, and # 33 Leonel Miranda for Andrew Wenger. In the 64th minute Dynamo’s #9 Erick Torres hit the corner of the goal post that stopped the goal. The LA Galaxy had a substitution in the 66st minute #18 Mike Magee off and #24 Emmanuel Boateneg on. The second half unfortunately has been all LA Galaxy, the Dynamo have had some questionable calls by the referees. They have not really controlled the ball well the second half. The Dynamo have not been connecting well with one another. The Galaxy did another substitution in the 81st minute, #27 Dave Romney on for #37 Jelle Van Damme. In the 89th minute a yellow card was given to LA Galaxy’s Daniel Steres for a foul. The final score Dynamo 1 and LA Galaxy 4. The Dynamo could not recover after the Galaxy scored their 4th goal.
