Skeeters win there 5th straight game of the Bridgeport Bluefish

Tonight the Skeeters take on the Bluefish for the seventh time this week.  The Skeeters are up in the series with a win last night and are trying to win the series.
The night did not get started until the 4th inning when the Skeeters started a small ralley with an RBI by Renny Osuna,  scoring #20 Chris Wallace for the first score of the night.  The next batter #5 Kevino Russo  was walked on balls, and #16 Travis Scott scored the other point.
The next inning Bluefish had a small ralley which scored them also 2 runs in the top of the fifth inning.  Ethan Chapman #7 scored and #12 Josh Prince hit a triple.  Skeeters changed pitchers, #10 James Parr.  Another score for the Bluefish to tie up the game 2-2.
Delwyn Young #24  hit a single for the Skeeters bottom of the 5th inning.
Cory VanAllen #19 is the new pitcher for Skeeters at top of 7th inning.  Bluefish had their 1st batter pop out, #27 Jeudy Valdez. No runs for the Bridgeport this inning.  The bottom of 7th RBI by #14 Jeff Dominguez to have #9 Amadeo Zazueta score for the Skeeters. Jeff Dominguez #14 hit a double.  The Bluefish changed pithcers to #15 Erik Draxton. Stolen base by #14 Jeff Dominguez. Jeff scored by tagging up on a sacrifice hit by #24 Delwyn Young.
The Skeeters changed pitchers to close out the 9th inning, Derrick Loop.  The Bluefish,  #32 Andres Rodriguez hit a line drive over third to get a double.  Matt Wessinger #4 next batter for the Bluefish got a single and RBI to score #32 Andres Rodriguez for a score. Pitcher #28 Derrick Loop struck out the last batter #7 Ethan Chapman ending the 9th inning to win tonight with the score Skeeters 4 and Bridgeport Bluefish 3.
The Skeeters will play the final game for the series tomorrow, Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 5:05 pm.
