Skeeters tie up the series with the Bridgeport Bluefish (1 to 1)

Tonight the Skeeters face the Bridgeport Bluefish for the second night. The Skeeters started with giving up a run in the first inning. Bryan Sabatella hit a ball toward centerfield to get a double. Bridgeports #19  Welington Dotel hit a sacraficed fly ball to left field for Bryan Sabatella to come home and score for the Bluefish. The Skeeters were unable to score to end the inning.
In the second inning there was a technical call when Travis Scott batted and hit to make it to first base because the first baseman dropped the ball, Scott passed the bag, on the way back he was tagged out because the first base umpire called him out. There was a discussion between Coach Gaetti and the umpires but was not successful to keep Scott on base.
The third inning the Bluefish started a ralley by Bryan Sabatella getting on base again. Then batter Josh Prince hit toward left field for a base hit, which put a man on first and second.  The inning retired with two men left on base for the Bluefish. Skeeters pitcher Josh Geer stroke out Welington Dotel and Wilson Batista grounded out. No scores for the Bluefish.  Unfortunately, the Skeeters were unable to score bottom of third.
Bottom of fourth the Skeeters #14 Jeff Dominguez hit for a single. Jeff stole base to move to 2nd base. Delwyn Young hit over second base to get an RBI and a single. Chris Wallace hit to right field for an RBI and tried to make it a triple base hit but was thrown out at 3rd base sliding in too late. Young did score to put the Skeeters ahead by 1.
The fifth inning #5 Kevin Russo hit for a double. He also advanced to third on a bach by the pitcher. Amadeo got a single hit with an error by the Bluefish second baseman and also gets credit for RBI to bring in Kevin Russo.
Skeeters #4 Renny Osuna got single in the bottom of the 6th inning. Travis Scott hit a double to RF with an RBI to bring in #4 Renny Osuna for another score. The Bridgeport Bluefish had a change in pitchers, #22 Brandon Bixler. Travis Scott was taken out sliding to third to end the inning but not before the Skeeters scored a run.
Skeeters changing pitchers in the 7th inning, #30 Dan Runzler, LH.  The Bluefish #19 Welington Dotel hit a single and credit with an RBI to bring in #7 Ethan Chapman. The bottom of the 7th inning the Bluefish changing pitchers #8 Sam Gervacio.  No more scores.
Top of the 8th inning, Skeeters new pitcher # 22 Andrew Johnston. Bluefish didn’t score.  Bluefish new pitcher # 29 Scott Shuman.   Jeff Dominguez, #14 got a base hit on an error by Bluefish second baseman #25 Wilson Batista.  A wild pitch by pitcher advances Jeff Dominguez to second.  On next pitch Jeff stole 3rd base.  RBI by Renny Osuna scores Jeff Dominguez a run and single hit for Renny.  Delwyn Young walked on balls, #16 Travis Scott hit single. Chris Wallace had an a double RBI, scored Young and Scott for 2 more runs. John Limonta #25 flied out to end the inning but not before the Skeeters scored three runs. This inning was very productive for the Skeeters.
The top of the 9th inning Skeeters new pitcher is Derrick Loop and came in to strike out the first batter #7 Ethan Chapman.  Bryan Sabetella hit for a single.  The Skeeters finished the inning with a bang, when they made a double play to end the game.  Skeeters 7 and Bluefish 2, so it brings the series to a tie.
