Houston Dash vs Chicago Red Stars

The Houston Dash welcome home the three stars from the World Cup Carli Lloyd Meghan Klingenberg and morgan Brian the Houston Dash  play in front of a record crowd 13025 people they all came out to see the World Cup champions but sadly they did not play in this homecoming game from all the traveling that they had been doing in the last 2 weeks they were little on the tired side as a game with start it looked like Chicago was going to take command of the game for some reason the Houston Dash were playing a little different they were laying back and we’re not attacking as much Chicago would come out first in the 19th minute of the first half they would score against the Canadian Erin McLeod making her debut back from the World Cup and Chicago would go into the half time leading 1-0 in the second half the Houston Dash would come back with the equalizer with a nice setup from Kealia  Ohai to Tiffany McCarthy which would be on the back post with a nice header to the back of the net getting her first score of the season Michelle Kagawa return fire only to be a few minutes later they would clearly make another score taking the lead again 2-1 the Houston – which I to get the equalizer again but a unfortunate would fall short out and would take a loss tonight and  of the 6 World Cup players only one made a debut which was Erin McLeod so unfortunately it was a bad night for the Houston Dash but they will hit the road to take on FC Kansas City on July 20th even though we had a record crowd at BBVA Compass Stadium let’s see if we can break that record again this next Saturday when they come home to take on the Boston Breakers
