It was a very cold and ranning night for some soccer between to great clubs Queretaro against Club Santos. As the game started a lot of the people were there to see Ronaldinho of Queretaro this is his first time on Texas soil with this club Queretaro.
And in the 1st half Club Santos got hit with a red card so they pretty much played almost the whole match a man down but the fans for Club Santos where still showing there support for there team.
That was the only action going on and at the end of the 1st half the score was 0-0. But as the 2nd half started we ended up with I think 6 runners. Which they were just trying to go and touch Ronaldinho. Here are a few photos of the people trying to get to him.
And after all that action and the start of the 2nd half they had to have Ronaldinho leave the field to keep more people from jump the rails to run to see Ronaldinho. And this is when the game got good even with Club Santos being a man down they were the first to score the 1st goal.
So as the rest of the game went on it looked like that Club Santos was going to win the game and the trophy. But Queretaro would score the game tieing goal and with only a few min. left in the game.
So with the game ending in a tie they did not go in to ot they just went to a straight shoot out and this was the first time I have seen this in person and was glad to be there to capture these photos of the shoot out.
As the end of the shoot out came to a close Club Santos would come out on top and win the game and trophy game score was 1-1 but shoot out was 3 to Club Santos and 2 to Queretaro. and here are a few other photos from the game.
