It was a great night for some soccer but one of the worst nights for the Houston Dynamo. This was the 25th meeting of the Texas Derby between the Dynamo and FC Dallas. The Houston Dynamo came out strong in the 1st half holding FC Dallas to 1 score which came off a penalty kick by Michel in the 31st min. And 10min later Ricardo Clark tied it up with a nice header in the 41st min with an asst. from Brad Davis. The other problems in the 1st half was 2 yellow cards 1 to Houston’s Jermaine Taylor in 22nd min and the other yellow card going to FC Dallas’s Hendry Thomas in the 37min. After the 1st half it look to be gear up to be a great and close game but as it turns out David Horst of the Houston Dynamo gets a red card in the 60th min and now the Houston Dynamo will have to play one man down for the next 30mins. And that is when the FC Dallas jumped all over the Houston Dynamo adding 3 more goals one in the 61st min by Je-Vaughn Watson and the 2nd goal in the 2nd half came from a header by Giles Barns from the Houston Dynamo in to his own goal. After that all the wind was just let of the team. And just when down hill the 3rd goal of the 2nd half came from Je-Vaughn Watson in the 70th min making it 1-4 with Fc Dallas going to a 4-0-1 record and have 13 points and the Houston Dynamo fall to 2-2-0 and hold 6 points. So it was a bad night for the 22,202 fans that came out to watch the Houston Dynamo. The next home is will be May 7, 2014 with a 7:00 kick off time.
